Institution onboarding is open now. To receive the full MTS Canada student support experience, institutions must join the MTS Canada Network by February 6, 2026. Institutions joining after this date can still participate with limited-support onboarding. Contact Ashley Dion, adion@mtroyal.ca, to find out how we can work with you.

 
 

Institution Registration

Map the System is more than a competition—it’s a learning program and a learning community. We’ve added more digital content and enrichment, including virtual workshops and masterclasses with Oxford faculty and globally recognized impact leaders. This year, we look forward to welcoming campus finalists to the Global Finals at the University of Oxford.

Please note: the registration fee is not required upon registration. 

What is the cost?

For the 2025–26 academic year, the institutional participation fee is covered for Canadian institutions through the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (University of Oxford). MTS Canada (hosted by Mount Royal University’s Institute for Community Prosperity) provides the Canada-wide coordination and supports outlined below.

Institution Eligibility

We invite institutions to partner with us that meet the following criteria:

  1. Institutions must be post-secondary educational institutions whose students are eligible to receive Canada Student Loans

  2. Institutions must have internal capacity to support students throughout the cycle of the competition

What you receive through MTS Canada

Join by February 6, 2026 (full-support participation)

  • Student coaching supports (including optional 1:1 support touchpoints in Feb–March)

  • National student communications and reminders

  • MTS Canada programming (including coaching days / national supports for campus finalists)

  • National judging supports and standardization

  • Access to broader MTS Canada educator calls / community touchpoints

  • Educator support from Ashley on running MTS on your campus

  • Student registration and submissions (national-level intake and tracking)

Join after February 6, 2026 (limited-support participation)

  • Access to broader MTS Canada educator calls / community touchpoints

  • Educator support from Ashley on running MTS on your campus
    Not available after Feb 6: student coaching, direct national student emails, Student registration and submissions (national-level intake and tracking), and MTS Canada coaching days/programming.
